Student Work

May 2021

Below are pictures of our most recent art project. For Earth Day we created art using recycled newspaper. Each student chose their own plant to recreate and we used chalk pastels and paper tearing techniques to create collages.

Below are pictures of the pizza fraction project that we completed at the end of our fraction unit in Math. For the project, each student created their own pizza and wrote some different fractions about it.

April 2021

Below are pictures of our most recent bulletin board display. We created art in the style of Robin Mead based on the novel we are reading right now in our class (Wild Robot).

Below are pictures of everyone's amazing playground project. They turned out so well, I am so proud of everyone.

January 2021

Based on our study of Peru we have made llamas with woven blankets. Below is a sampling of our work.

The following is a sampling of acrostic poems that we made to celebrate the brightness that each of us brings to the classroom. They were created after reading the Sulwe storybook.
