Homework for the week of October 4, 2020 - due on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2020

 Happy Sunday Everybody! 

This week our homework is going to be due on Thursday, October 8, because Friday, October 9 is a Professional Development (PD) day for the teachers, so there is no school for the students. This will also be the day of our third spelling test. The words can be found below:

Spelling Tasks:

1. Read your spelling word list and make sure you understand the meaning of each word.
   
   
2. Write out each of your words in a waterfall fashion. There is an example below:

3. Choose 8 of your spelling words, and write a sentence for each word. Put a circle around the spelling word in the sentence. Try to challenge yourself and see if you can use two words in one sentence. 

Reading Task:

10 minutes of reading is expected to be completed every night. 

Math Tasks: 

1. Your student(s) can copy the following patterns into their notebook and complete them by filling in the blanks. 
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. They must create 2 of their own decreasing patterns, using numbers, symbols, or anything else they would like. They must write the rule for each decreasing pattern below the pattern.
3. I will be updating the assigned Mathletics activities for the students, so they can continue to work on this throughout the week. 

I have assigned slightly fewer activities this week as it is a shorter week, and the students will have less time to complete their homework tasks. As per usual, please let me know if you have any questions, and have a wonderful week!!
